Hello, I go by Lilian, if you care my legal name is Youlost TheGame. I am an incoming freshman at Chennai Mathematical Institute, majoring in Math and Physics.

I tend to engage myself with a lot of things, so most of my interests are eclectic and half-baked, but primarily I enjoy literature, music, reading about whatever academic discipline caught my eye, and writing. Academically, aside from mathematics and physics, I currently enjoy philosophy, linguistics/semiotics, sociology and computer science.

In daily life I spend my time thinking about the world and trying to understand myself, others, and the world around us. In this fashion I spend time on rationality (the LessWrong brand of it, even if I have great reservations against a lot of LessWrong/Effective Altruism adjacent things) and reading whatever brand of philosophy interests me at the moment (right now its philosophy of language and literary theory).

On some more whimsical things, while I don't often watch movies, some of my favourites are Loving Vincent and Space Odyssey. In music I love noise-rock, emo-esque bands (but I am open to trying out just about any genre of music, so feel free to recommend!) and love Radiohead, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Car Seat Headrest, and Willy Rodriguez (now disbanded, rip, but drug bug, who was one half of the band, is an artist I really like these days). I spend at times too many hours on RPGs and Visual Novels, my favourite being Disco Elysium which I only recently finished playing.
